Railway Modelling has become more than just a hobby nowadays for the average modeller, there are alot more common ways to make a layout look as good as it can be, but, you cannot run a layout without some good working locomotives, which are nowadays being produced in great batches by some of the most well-known model railway companies. Although alot of youngsters love Thomas The Tank Engine, the models produced by Hornby and Bachmann are now becoming alot more popular each decade, and many have said that Bachmann's qulity matches close to that of the television shows beautifully detailed models.
Some have criticised Hornby for making there models too cheap, but, that is not the case here, people should really be enjoying the hobby rather than bashing a company for the quality of the models.

And that is why, alot of members on the MTF have become stuck in to doing such wonderful projects, and making models that not even these companies have yet thought about doing. So, we hope that you will enjoy browsing through the gallery, and hope that this will also give you too some idea as to how much we love railway modelling.
